  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    The FIFA Disciplinary Committee placed Pumas and Atlas on their list of teams banned from signing, meaning neither team cannot register new players until the sanction is lifted. In response, the Universitarios and the Zorros have already taken a position.

    WHAT DID PUMAS AND ATLAS SAY?

    "The Universidad Nacional Club reports that it was notified today by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee that it is unable to register its players. Our institution's legal department is already working on the necessary clarifications and clarifications to resolve this matter with the organization," Pumas said in a statement.

    Atlas assured that all of the documents required by FIFA are in order, but because they were submitted after the established deadline, they were placed on the list, and they hope the ban will be lifted soon.
