  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    Disasi joined Chelsea for £39 million in 2023, although he has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter under manager Enzo Maresca. After speaking with the player, it has been stated that Chelsea are amenable to Disasi leaving.

    Fabrizio Romano has now revealed that Disasi is set to miss out on Enzo Maresca's Chelsea squad for the Bournemouth clash as the Blues set up for their Premier League clash against Bournemouth as he can leave Stamford Bridge in January.

    Even though it was previously reported that Chelsea were not actively looking to sell Disasi, the club's position seems to have changed. Chelsea may be able to pursue other defensive targets as a result of the prospective transfer; Marc Guehi of Crystal Palace has been mooted as a potential replacement.
